Broken Arrow Wrestling

Since 1998, The Broken Arrow High School Wrestling Program has captured 20 State Wrestling Championships?

The Broken Arrow Wrestling Program has a long history of championship success. Starting with BA’s first State Champion Bud Gainer in 1967 to Allison Hynes this season. Allison became the first Girls State Champion in the history of Broken Arrow Wrestling. State Championship Coaches Steve Dunlap, Steve Allen, and Shawn Jones have contributed greatly to a wrestling program that is nationally recognized as one of the best in the country.

We take pride in providing all of our wrestlers with more opportunities than any other high school in the state. In 2020 we traveled by plane to Ohio and Chicago to compete against the best competition in the country as well as filling a full second HS team that wrestles a full schedule against state varsity competition. The middle school program is one of the best in the state every year and we could have 3 different middle school teams competing on one weekend in 3 different competitions.
